Born in Paris. Raised in Sf.
The Ketums story dates back to Paris in the 1920s. My family built a sewing factory on a quiet street in the city and handcrafted premium raincoats for years. When the Nazis invaded Paris, the factory was destroyed and they had to leave everything behind.
75 years later, I picked up where they left off and rebuilt Ketums in San Francisco. The ethos hasn't changed: create beautiful pieces that wear well with age, produce in small batches, invest in local manufacturing, and connect with the creative communities that inspire us.
"The brand's first offering (fittingly a raincoat) invokes the spirit of its namesake with a commitment to craftsmanship, attention to detail and utilizing the finest materials available."
